Getting a bit built up now, but still a nice place to visit.
It's a working harbour! Why are there reviews about cafes and lovely days out? The harbour has a little wooden office building where the harbour master sits. Sometimes he goes for a little ride on the harbour master's boat to chat with other people. Some boats launch from here, there is some sea for them to all in.
Really love visiting Brightlingsea. Harbour is lovely and Beach Huts are brill. Come here once a year to visit family. Would recommend.
Lovely little harbour town, had a nice ice cream. A lot of sailing history including a native Olympic yaghtsman. A pleasant area to stroll around.
